You can drive to Finland. The journey takes about 3 days.The best route from the UK will take you from The Hook of Holland to Copenhagen (0ne day) and then across Sweden to Stockholm (another day) and then you can take one of the excellent ferries from Stocholm to Helsinki or Turku.

For cheap flights try Ryanair. They fly from Stansted to Tampere (Finland’s second city)
